OUR APPROACH

THE E.L.E.V.A*.T.E FRAMEWORK

At museSalon Collaborative, we recognize that strategic planning and capacity building for BIPOC-led and serving organizations are dynamic processes that require a conscious framework. Our approach accounts for heritage, cultural tradition, and the impacts of colonization, aiming to foster remembrance, repair, regeneration, healing, empowerment, and sustainability within these communities. We use this framework to inform professional development learning sessions with cohorts, teams, and stakeholders, ensuring that our support is tailored, culturally sensitive, and responsive to the unique needs and challenges faced by BIPOC cultural legacy institutions. Through collaborative and participatory approaches, we facilitate a collective journey towards organizational resilience and community empowerment.

CAPACITY BUILDING

Capacity building for BIPOC-led and serving organizations is dynamic and requires a conscious framework that accounts for heritage, cultural tradition and repairing or answering to the impact of colonization. Our work is centered in remembrance, repair, regeneration, healing, empowerment and sustainability.

This work also serves research firms, foundations, philanthropy and granting organizations whose work intersects racial equity and liberatory methods and practices.
